Waiting for the Winds to Change
Posted up in McDermitt until tomorrow. Winds to come out of the NW then and help us in our +70 mile push to Winnemucca. Beautifully clear and sunny save for the system blowing in from the South.
Wow, that looks like a wicked storm! Looks like it's going to be pretty cold there today (Tues.)! Forecast says high of 30 F. Burr! Less wind though :) I am glad you had a chance to rest and stock up on calories! Ride safely to Winnemucca... ;)
16 F this morning? That'll be a cold start! Hope the wind helps push you southward and that you find a warm place to spend the night. Overnight lows predicted to be 11 F in Winnemucca!
