We are back in 4G country after rolling through the gorge, up onto the Columbia Plateau, and finally into Madras.
Yesterday was a low mile, high calorie day as we tackled the winding climb onto the plateau. Traffic was sparse, presenting many opportunities to listen to the birds while spinning in low gear along hwy 97. At night we found ourselves under a blanket of stars outside of the Grass Valley cemetery. We awoke to an amazing sunrise accompanied by a clear view of Mt Hood and Mt Jefferson.
Open road without a car in sight! Beautiful, thanks for all the pics!
